Geffi Straf "Music by an algorithm" is a funny way to spell Uwe Schmidt. This is an album as if made from one piece. Still each track has its own flavour without adding too much cheese. No clue what the algorithm-thingy did here. My impression is, it's far from "Forgot to switch off the Palantir, thus granting Sauron access to all your streaming accounts"-fucked up. Works just fine then? Good job, algorithm! For me one of the best albums of 2022!

holobiont Exquisitely sculpted barbarity. Sound as visceral materiality. Syncopated sprays of snares and single shots. Teeming with all manner of grit - burbling with incoherent and distorted utterances and electric.

Finn of Tomland That Atom™ bloke sure know how to do some funky snap, crackle and pop music that makes me very happy.
And this time it seems that he has almost let the machines take over by letting an algorithm control parts of the process and that is a clever move when it ends up sounding as nice as this.
So i think that "algorhythm" is a fair description of this wicked release.
Highly recommended.
